At Initial Bookkeeping, we believe in fixed-value pricing versus an hourly pricing model. Most business owners are not aware of what goes on behind-the-scenes of their bookkeeping administrations as some tasks take longer than expected depending on the complexity of the transactions. From the client's point of view, all they want to know is whether their problems can be solved within a specific pricing range based on their business needs. Since all businesses have different bookkeeping needs, it will be very challenging to determine the number of hours required to complete their set of books. Charging an hourly rate will make it very difficult for the owner to gauge how much they need to pay every month. Instead, we incorporate a fixed-value pricing model that caters to our client's needs. Various months will require extended hours than others, so regardless of the number of hours devoted each month, our clients will have peace of mind knowing that their book will be completed based on a fixed monthly fee.
